This is a late posting about Easter. Thanks to my old laptop which delay this posting and also to the new mobile which confuse me in the usage. Anyway better late than never…..
Regardless the controversy of the movie: PASSION OF THE CHRIST I have an enormous feeling about it. Last Saturday was the second time I watched it and still my tears were flowing down.
I have no intention to review the movie but I do have a conclusion to draw:
I am a sinner but I received an absolute forgiveness.
That would enough to describe what I have been through this Easter.
Sound simple but personally it has profound meaning.
The woman’s look exactly expresses what I feel.
Who am I to ask more.
His passion had saved a wreck like me.

aku lupa sudah nonton yang ini atau belum.
tapi lihat foto itu, aku teringat seorang pastor yang baru 2 tahun lalu meninggal. Pastor Amerika (Roger Downey SJ) yang pandai berbahasa Jepang dan Indonesia. Dia melakukan upacara cuci kaki umatnya satu-per-satu dan diciuminya kaki umatnya itu. Duuuh aku ngga bisa tahan air mata di situ.
May he rest in peace.

I have watched this movie perhaps 3-4 times. I usually pick Thursday night before Easter to see it (what other better time to see it than before Easter?!). This film is amazing, it describes the real passion that Christ must bear for our sins.

yes dear, sometimes we can only come to the foot of the cross and cry, ‘LORD we are most unworthy, help us.’ may the Lord continue to teach us living a life of sacrifice and abandonment for His sake 😉
One of my favourite movies (not its gore scene). In Catholic we do have that tradition, indeed but the priest haven’t kiss my leg. 😀

Film Passion itu yang kutahu telah membuat beberapa orang jadi percaya Kristus dan pindah agama..;)
Aku jadi teringat Paskah beebrapa tahun lalu, di salah satu televisi swasta Indonesia tiba-tiba tiga jam primer time nya diblok untuk memutar film ini tanpa iklan sama sekali.
Waktu aku jadi mikir kenapa kok tidak diumumkan dulu barangkali karena nanti akan menerbitkan protas protes dari mereka yang merasa mayoritas dan menganggap film itu adalah upaya kristenisasi…
Hihihihii… Umar Kayam bilang “touche” , Paman Sam bilang “GOTCHA!”
Sedih bangetz ya mba’…

iya, gue udah nonton film ini, sekali aja. gak kuat nonton lagi, orang nonton sekali aja nangisnya sesenggukan.

Passion of Christ, mengingat 3 kata tersebut saja, mataku sudah berkaca-kaca apalagi menonton. Tapi satu yang pasti yang saya dapat ambil dari film tersebut, penderitaan, permasalahan hidup yang kita hadapi tiada satupun yang melebihi apa yang telah dialami oleh DIA Sang Juruselamat.
