A Romantic Escape to Lembang

Have you read my blog post about Our 6^th Wedding Anniversary? If not, you may read it here 😉 . We celebrate our anniversary at Imah Seniman Resort in Lembang; a secluded place with beautiful view. At first, me and Adrian were quite confuse to decide whether to spend nights at Sapu Lidi or Omah Seniman. They seem offer quite similar view and the price isn’t that far different. But then I read that the room size in Imah Seniman is bigger, therefore we decided to go there. A decision that we didn’t regret, this place is marvelous!

The resort is so natural.

We got the room right in front of the lake where the misty lake is darn pretty in the morning. Oh, we even can go canoeing for free here. What I like most from Imah Seniman, unlike any other hotel, they offer quite big greenish areas. We can even go tracking with bird chirping along the way! I felt like I was in the real forest.

Now, I got to say that we don’t go traveling “just the two of us anymore” 😀 There are three of us. Baby Sebastian is with us. Oh by the way this Lembang Trip is Sebastian first road trip and holiday. He was just 6 weeks old: 46 days old to be exact ^_^

About the food, most of their menus are traditional food with reasonable price. Nasi Goreng is just about 30K, some original snacks like Surabi (oh this one is tasty. A must try!) and pisang goreng is around 10K only.

Despite the lovely things I mentioned there, there are some heart-breaking things. I found some flies flying around during my breakfast. Well, perhaps it’s because of the location: the forest area. Yet, that was covered with the facts that there were not any mosquitos biting me 😀 The room itself, although it has lovely view but some areas are not really clean. Dust and spots are in some corners. Now, it is not a biggy but a year or two, if they don’t clean it up, the room wouldn’t comfy again.

In overall, I love this place. Will definitely go back here. How I cannot go back to the place with lovely scene and fresh air like this? A place where when I open the window my eyes are pleased with plenty trees, my ears are happy listening to birds chirping in the morning, and my foot are enjoying tracking on the soil path? Not to forget tummy are beyond happy! Baby Sebastian loves being here too, giggling when he wakes up and sleeping very tight at his time.

P.S. Later I know that Sapu Lidi and Omah Seniman is owned by the same person. No wonder they look alike.
